Routes
You start at Római part. The map shows how far you can go with each boat. Travel times are upstream, against the current, approximate, and depend on the water level.
About 45–60 minutes upstream. Moor up, grab an ice cream, stroll the old town; the way back downstream is quicker.
About 1.5 hours upstream. Quiet, wooded riverbank with sandbanks for swimming at low water.
The northern tip of Szentendre Island, about 2–2.5 hours. This is where the two Danube branches meet.
On the main Danube branch. With the 20 HP boat when the Budapest water level is below the lowest navigable water level (LNWL, 93 cm): by prior arrangement and after a briefing, upstream towards Göd. With the 40 HP boat and a licence at any time.

Online booking
Choose a boat, a day and a start time. You pay 30% of the total now by card and the rest on site. Your booking is confirmed as soon as the deposit is paid.
How it works
Online with a 30% deposit, or by phone. We send the confirmation by e-mail.
Arrive at the harbour 15 minutes early. Bring an ID card or passport and, for the 40 HP boat, your boat licence.
We show you the boat, the rules and the manoeuvres. Security deposit and balance are settled.
Off you go. At the end of the rental we take the boat back at the harbour and return your deposit.
FAQ
Not for the 20 HP boat. Since 2022, motorboats with an engine of up to 14.7 kW (20 HP) and a length of up to 7 metres may be driven in Hungary without a boat licence. With passengers the minimum age is 16; with us, the renter and the driver must be at least 18. The 40 HP boat requires a recreational boat licence.
In case of a storm warning, strong wind, high water or an official restriction, we rebook your slot free of charge or credit your deposit as a voucher. If we cancel the trip, you can choose between rebooking and a refund of the deposit.
Free of charge up to 48 hours before departure; we refund the deposit. For later cancellations or no-shows the deposit is not refunded.
Up to 5 people per boat. Children are welcome and we provide life jackets; for small children please note their age in the message field. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
The boat comes with 25 litres of fuel, enough for most trips. For a full-day trip to Visegrád, let us agree on refuelling in advance.
You pay the deposit online by card when booking. The balance and the HUF 60,000 security deposit are paid on site; the security deposit in cash.
With the 20 HP boat you navigate the Szentendre branch of the Danube. If the Budapest gauge is below the lowest navigable water level (LNWL, 93 cm), contact us in advance: after a briefing you may then boat on the main branch, upstream towards Göd. With the 40 HP boat and a boat licence you can go from the southern edge of Budapest up to Esztergom, on both Danube branches.
